Biography
Amy Heather joined PenCHORD (the Peninsula Collaboration for Health Operational Research and Data Science( in October 2022.
She is currently working on STARs: Sharing Tools and Artefacts for Reproducible Simulations. You can find out more about this project on the STARS Github organisation.
She has previously worked on:
- Kalio – a research project focused on preventing poor adolescent mental health through targeting the social determinants of health. As part of Kalio, she was working on the pilot of a local adaptation of the #BeeWell survey in North Devon and Torridge.
- SAMueL (Stroke Audit Machine Learning) – project using simulation and machine learning to identify key levers for maximising the disability benefit of intravenous thrombolysis in acute stroke pathways.
- IPACS (Improving Patient flow between Acute, Community and Social Care)
