Kate Frewer is the Research Information and Communications Manager for the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) South West. She works closely with researchers, project teams and partners to monitor research activity, capture impact and communicate ARC South West’s contributions to improving health and social care.
Kate joined the University of Exeter in 2023 and has worked in project and network coordination roles. Prior to this, she spent seven years working with charities and NGOs in education and healthcare, including roles with the Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET) and CLIC Sargent.
Kate has extensive experience in reporting, project management, communications and stakeholder engagement. She holds a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics, a BSc in Economics and Accounting, and an MSc in Development and Security.
