Biography

Alice is a Research Fellow within the Child Health Theme of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) South West. Her research focuses on improving outcomes for children, young people, parent carers and families through the development, implementation and evaluation of health and social care interventions.

Alice has particular interests in health inequalities, equitable access to services, implementation science, and support for families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). She has extensive experience in qualitative and mixed-methods research, stakeholder engagement, co-production, and translating research findings into practice.

Before joining academia, Alice held a range of NHS clinical, research delivery and leadership roles in mental health, dementia and child health research. She has managed complex NIHR-funded studies and worked closely with health services, charities, local authorities and community organisations to support the implementation and scale-up of evidence-based interventions.

Her current work includes research with parent carers, children and young people, and studies exploring how services can better support diverse and underserved populations.
